About me

I am an Assistant Professor (RTT) at the Department of Economics of the University of Bergamo.

I finished my Ph.D. in Economics in June 2023 at the Department of Economics and Social Sciences of Marche Polytechnic University (Ancona, Italy), supervised by Matteo Picchio. In 2022 I was a visiting research scholar at the Department of Applied Economics of Erasmus School of Economics (Rotterdam, the Netherlands), hosted by Jan van Ours.

My research interests lie in the fields of Labour Economics, Health Economics, and Sports Economics, with a primary focus on the role of local and industry-specific shocks in shaping workplace safety. I am also interested in wage determination, career dynamics, and the effects of unemployment on labour market and social outcomes.
