About Me
I am a Research Officer at the European Parliament, where I work in the Expenditure Analysis Unit of the Directorate-General for Budget. My work combines policy analysis and applied economic research, with a focus on EU public finances, public expenditure and the evaluation of EU policies and programmes.
Before joining the European Parliament, I worked as an Economist at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission in Seville, where my work focused on fiscal policy analysis, microsimulation modelling and the distributional impact of tax-benefit systems.

Research Activity
My research has mainly focused on fiscal policy, inflation and taxation, with particular attention to their distributional and macroeconomic implications. I have published in peer-reviewed journals, and my work has been featured in policy outlets such as VoxEU and the ECB Blog, as well as in national media, such as El Pais.
More recently, I have been expanding my research agenda towards EU programme evaluation, particularly in the field of Cohesion Policy. I am open to new research collaborations, so please feel free to reach out if you would like to discuss related ideas or projects.
