About me
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Prof. Dr. Christian Sohler at the University of Cologne.
My research interests are in the field of discrete and computational geometry and topology. I am particularly interested in discrete structures on surfaces, like triangulations on hyperbolic surfaces or short cycles on combinatorial surfaces.
In my research, I study these structures from two different points of view:
designing algorithms to compute the structures efficiently,
using the discrete structures to study properties of the surface.
