Reflections

Students have two options to submit their reflection entries: 

(1) use the online form (https://forms.gle/ouP8My6fd9K2dvYh6) 

or 

(2) email a submission to MWPTA (mwespta@gmail.com) by the December 3 rd deadline.

For emailing, follow the following steps:

1. Download the Reflections entry form in English  or Spanish

2. Fill out the student information section only. The form must be hand-signed by both the student and a parent/guardian.

3. The student must submit a digital photo of the original artwork as a visual reference for the judges.

4. The student or parent/guardian should email the signed entry form and digital artwork together in a single message to mwespta@gmail.com with the student’s name, grade, and category in the email subject line.

Students in Pre-K through grade 12 are invited to create theme-based artwork in the categories of dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography or visual arts. Membership in Virginia PTA provides the opportunity to participate in the National PTA Reflections Arts Contest. This competition encourages students to explore the arts and express themselves by providing positive recognition for their artistic efforts. Since it was founded in 1969 by Mary Lou Anderson, millions of students have benefited from this program.
