My name is Matt Giordano. I am a doctoral candidate seeking my EdD in Educational Technology and Leadership at N.J.C.U. I am a recently retired high school science teacher with 32 years of classroom experience. I hold a B.A. in Geoscience Education from N.J.C.U. and an M.A. in Educational Technology from Teachers’ College at Columbia University. I have a New Jersey Educational Supervisor certificate and Principal Certification of eligibility from Montclair State University. I was a former union president for the Bloomfield Education Association and a former BOE trustee for Wayne Township public schools. I have a doctoral interest in T.T.R.P.G. as a tool to teach SEL topics and issues.

I have way too many hobbies, including tabletop role-playing games, scale model building, steel-tip darts, aquarium keeping, bass guitar, collecting leather-bound books, target shooting, and the N.Y. Giants. If that isn't enough, being a full-time husband, father, and French Bulldog caretaker rounds it all out for me. 

I am dedicating this doctoral journey to my late mother, a lifelong learner and teacher; I miss you more than you know, and my dad, the rock of my life. I promise to keep making you both proud.
