*Instructions are for Windows (10 & 11) and iOS 11-16 only- sorry if you are using a device that uses the Android operating system
Windows (10 & 11)
How to download an .mcworld or .mcpack file to MCBE
Download the file
Open File Explorer, go to Downloads and double click the downloaded file
It should automatically open Minecraft for Windows and install the file into the game
How to download a .zip file to MCBE
Download the file
There are 2 different methods- the 'A' method converts to file to an .mcworld or .mcpack file, & the 'B' method uses the manual way. Also, use the manual way (method B) if the importing of the file failed.
2a. Open File Explorer and go to Downloads
3a. In the ribbon above, select 'View', scroll down to 'Show' and enable 'File name extensions'
4a. Through renaming, change the file extension from .zip to .mcworld or .mcpack (depends what you downloaded)
5a. A popup will appear asking if you wanted to change the file extension; click 'Yes'
6a. The file icon should be changed to the Minecraft icon; if it is, double click and it should automatically open Minecraft for Windows and install the file into the game
2b. Open File Explorer, go to Downloads and extract the file
3b. On your keyboard press Windows key + R to open the Run Prompt
4b. Copy and paste the file location below into the prompt and click 'Run' (It should open another File Explorer window) %LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\
5b. If the file you downloaded is a world, double click on the minecraftWorlds folder. If it is a resource pack, double click on the resource_packs folder. If it is a behavior pack, double click on the behavior_packs folder.
6b. On the other File Explorer window, find your extracted file and copy it to your clipboard
7b. Paste the copied file to the other window where you accessed the game's files
8b. Open Minecraft for Windows
9b. If it is a world, check your worlds to see if your downloaded file is there. You might have to scroll down depending on how old the file is. If it is a resource or behavior pack, go to Settings and check your packs. It should be there.
iOS (11-16) This process uses the Safari browser

Next to the URL line should be a blue dot with a white arrow icon- press that then press Downloads
Press the downloaded file, it should redirect you to the Files app
Press on the file and it should redirect you to Minecraft and install the files into the game
How to download a .zip file to MCBE

4a. Hold down on the file, press Rename, and change the file extension from .zip to .mcworld or .mcpack (depends what you downloaded)
5a. Press on the file and it should redirect you to Minecraft and install the files into the game
4b. Hold down on the file and press Copy
5b. Press the back arrow on the top left
6b. Find the 'Minecraft' folder and press it
7b. In the Minecraft folder go to Games > com.mojang
8b. If the file you downloaded is a world, press the minecraftWorlds folder. If it is a resource pack, press the resource_packs folder. If it is a behavior pack, press the behavior_packs folder.
9b. Paste the file into the folder
10b. Exit Files and go to Minecraft
11b. If it is a world, check your worlds to see if your downloaded file is there. You might have to scroll down depending on how old the file is. If it is a resource or behavior pack, go to Settings and check your packs. It should be there.
