My research sits at the intersection of the Philosophy of Action, the Philosophy of Mind, and Ethics. I am especially interested in the interconnections between reasoning (inferring to a conclusion), intentional agency, and moral responsibility. This is a theme of my dissertation, Agency and the Attitudes: Responsibility Through Reasoning. You can read more on the Research page.
I received my PhD (2020) in Philosophy from Columbia University in the City of New York. Before coming to Columbia to commence my doctoral studies, I received an MA (2012) from San Francisco State University and a BA (2008) from the University of California, Los Angeles (all in Philosophy).
In years between educational stints, I worked in Seoul, South Korea as an English instructor and in Silicon Valley, CA at a tech startup. When not at work, I enjoy bicycling and learning analog photography.
