Welcome!
I am an Associate Professor of Political Science at Gyeongsang National University. I teach and conduct research on comparative political communication, political behavior, East Asian politics, representation, and environmental politics. I am particularly interested in understanding how elite messaging and social psychology shape mass opinion.
In the classroom, I emphasize critical thinking, active engagement, and inclusion, encouraging students to challenge assumptions and approach problems with a global perspective. I am committed to mentoring the next generation of scholars, equipping them with the tools they need to excel in both academic and applied settings.
In my spare time I write and record music. This creative outlet allows me to explore new ways of thinking and engage with ideas outside of the academic sphere. I am also an avid NBA fan. I invite you to explore my work and take a look around the site!
