Workshop Venue
The Palazzone of Cortona, a Renaissance villa designed by Giovan Battista Caporali in the early 16th century, features a central courtyard with a well, an Italian-style garden, and a crenellated lateral tower. Its interiors include the fresco-adorned Salone del Papacello with works by Caporali and Luca Signorelli, including the unfinished Baptism of Christ. Donated to the Scuola Normale Superiore, it showcases valuable architectural and artistic heritage.
Accommodation
The majority of guests will stay at Hotel Villa San Margherita, located about a 15-minute walk from the Palazzone. The walk is pleasant and offers panoramic views of the surroundings. For those arriving by car, the Palazzone provides on-site parking facilities.
