About me
I am a psycholinguist and cognitive neuroscientist, working as a postdoc (Juan de la Cierva Fellow 2026-2028) in the Spoken Language group (Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language, PI: Efthymia Kapnoula). I am interested in how we exploit internal (linguistic) representations (e.g., frequency of occurrence, predictions) and external cues to effortlessly decode the speech produced by our interlocutor. To address this fascinating research question, I employ behavioural measures (e.g., RTs, 2AFC and visual analog scale judgments), neuroimaging techniques with high temporal resolution (Electroencephalography - EEG) and neurostimulation methods (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation - TMS, Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation - tDCS), also simultaneously (e.g., TMS-EEG).
