Alien Splash

About the game:

Alien Splash is a local-multiplayer action game, using Unity and developed during the Global Game Jam 2018 at the Politecnico of Milan. The theme of the jam was Transmission.

Our team of 15 peoples decided to make a about the transmission of diseases.The game use the same rules of "tag", where players chasing other players in an attempt to touch them. The player must avoid or transmit the alien infection to another player, before the infection timer ends and survive two matches.

At the start of a match the infected can be choose randomly or might be the survivor of the previous match and if he doesn't transmit the infection before the timer ends the disease will make him burst and find another player to infect. Players can find a small range of bonus over the city street to escape from the infected, like the teleport station, a speed bonus and the teleport gun.

My role:

My role in this project was that of HUD Designer, setting up the game and menu HUD and I've also created the page for the game on the GGJ website.
