Ever since he was traded to the Detroit Lions in 2021, Jared Goff has been one of the more efficient quarterbacks in the NFL. He had a slow start in 2021, but after a breakout season in 2022, Goff has captured the love of the faithful fans in Detroit. He signed a mega contract extension in 2024 to keep him there for many years to come.
To sum up Baker Mayfield's NFL career would be a roller coaster of emotions. Originally drafted by the Cleveland Browns, Mayfield was a fiery competitor that fans either loved or hated. After some up and down years with the Browns, he was released in 2022 and was nearly left for dead. In 2023, he was picked up by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for sort of a "do-or-die" opportunity. In less than a year, Mayfield had completely won over the locker room and the fans of Tampa.
Now one of the more beloved quarterbacks in the league, Mayfield has been on fire with Tampa and looks more like the number one overall pick that he was originally meant for Cleveland.
By far the heart and soul of the Pittsburgh Steelers, T.J. Watt has become one of the best defensive players in the league. He is a linebacker that makes offensive coordinators and quarterbacks lose sleep at night. He is one of the toughest defenders to make a game plan against.
Completely self-less and overall demanding leader, Watt takes after his brother J.J. as an outstanding defender.
One of the more anticipated kickoff games in the league, the 2023 NFL season would start off with a bang, featuring the defending Super Bowl champions: the Kansas City Chiefs, and a red-hot team from 2022: the Detroit Lions.
Drafted by the Atlanta Hawks, Trae Young was immediately made their star and franchise player. Even at a super young age, Young was made one of the more respected players in the NBA. Multi-time All-Star, immediately making the First-Rookie team, and eventually the Assists leader in 2025 are just some of his accomplishments.
Matt Ryan is one of the more heavily debated quarterbacks in the league. Is he a Hall of Famer, or not? He certainly has quite the resume to get in. 4x Pro Bowler, an MVP, and Offensive Player of the Year, Top 10 in all-time passing yards, and a long career with a minor number injuries or missed starts. He took Atlanta to a Super Bowl appearance, but was unfortunately part of one of the biggest collapses in sports history; blowing a 28-3 lead to the New England Patriots.
Overall, Ryan is Atlanta's pride and joy and is easily considered one of, if not the best, Falcons of all-time.
