To start with, I have lived in Bern Kansas all my life. My family consists of 6 people. Jay and Heidi are my parents. My siblings consist of Laura, Mitchell, and Rachael. Family is a big part of my life, and we all have a pretty good bond. My mom is the one who keeps me going. She always pushes me to be the person that I can be. Even if I don't always like the things she tells me, I know it will benefit me. I put her through a lot and am blessed to have a mom who never stops pushing me.
Next, In high school, I would say I am a pretty reliable student. For the most part, I usually have all my homework done and try my best on all tests. I participated in many sports through high school. I played football, basketball, and track. Through playing these sports I learned how to be a team player and to respect my coaches and teammates. The main reason I played sports was that I liked them. I have always been a competitor and never give up in sports, is that always believe either win or lose, there is something you can take away from ever competition. Another reason to play is to learn the life lesson of hard work. Having to work hard is a great thing to learn and will benefit me in the future. In the future, I plan on going to college. I want to either go play football at the collegiate level or go to Kansas State University and study agriculture. A reason for going to college is to better me before entering the real world. I don't think I am ready to go straight to a job. With everything that comes with college, I hope to become a better and more reliable man.
In addition, when I grow up, I want to farm on our family farm. Ever since I was a kid, I would always help out on the farm whenever possible. Through helping on the farm I have grown to love everything about it. I love being able to get up at sunrise and do daily chores. That feeling of being the first one up and getting to better the farm each day. Before I start working for the farm full time, I want to go to college and get more information and knowledge about farming. I want to make connections with people at college, so after returning home, I can always get some help from people I know.
To finish up, If I could visit any place in the world it would have to be Switzerland. The weather and climate are beautiful and looks like a great place to visit. My ancesters are all from over there, and I would love to see a place where they all grew up. My family was able to go over there and visit, but I was too young and had to stay home. They came back with some great stories, and it sounds great. If I had a million dollars today, the first thing I would do is buy a piece of farmland. They never lose value, and it would benefit my family for the rest of my life. When I am long gone, it will always be there to help out my grandkids. One of my favorite leisure activities is either shooting or buying guns. I guess it is always fun to blow money. Shooting is just a way to relieve stress and do it with a bang.
