Biography
Ryuji Matsuhashi received the B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 1985, 1987, and 1990, respectively.
In 1990, he joined the Department of Geosystem Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, The University of Tokyo, as a Research Associate, and was an Associate Professor from 1994. From 1999, he was an Associate Professor with the Department of Environment Systems, Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, The University of Tokyo, and was a Professor from 2003. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Systems, Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo, from 2011. He is also a Director with the Collaborative Research Organization for Comprehensive Energy Sciences (CROCES), The University of Tokyo, from 2021. His research interests include the analysis of energy systems and global environmental issues.
Dr. Matsuhashi is a Member of Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan, Japan Society of Energy and Resources, and Japan Institute of Energy.
