AppLocker Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 2026
Privacy First
AppLocker is built with privacy at its core. We believe your security data belongs only to you.
No Data Collection
AppLocker does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data, including your PIN, locked app list, security preferences, and settings, is stored exclusively on your device.
No Internet Required
AppLocker works entirely offline. The application does not require an internet connection to function and does not make network requests for its core functionality.
Local Data Storage
Your PIN, pattern, app lock preferences, and related settings are stored locally on your device using Android's local storage mechanisms. This information never leaves your device and is not shared with third parties.
Usage Access Permission
AppLocker requires the Android Usage Access permission to detect which application is currently active on your device. This permission is used solely to provide app-locking functionality.
Information obtained through this permission is processed locally on your device in real time and is never transmitted, stored externally, or shared with any third party.
Biometric Authentication
AppLocker supports biometric authentication, such as fingerprint or face unlock, through Android's BiometricPrompt API.
AppLocker does not access, collect, store, or transmit your biometric information. All biometric authentication is handled directly by the Android operating system.
Notifications
AppLocker displays a persistent foreground service notification to ensure that app protection remains active in the background. This notification does not contain personal information.
Third-Party Services
AppLocker does not include analytics services, advertising SDKs, tracking technologies, or third-party data collection tools.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your personal information to third parties because AppLocker does not collect personal information.
Data Security
Because all AppLocker data is stored locally on your device, the security of your information depends on your device's built-in security mechanisms, including screen lock protection and operating system safeguards.
Children's Privacy
AppLocker does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any users.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected on this page and within the application. Continued use of AppLocker after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
