About me

Since April 2024, I have been serving as an Assistant Professor at the Facultad de Ingeniería, Arquitectura y Diseño at Universidad San Sebastián in Santiago de Chile.

Previously, from July 2019 to April 2022 I served as a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre des Mathématiques Appliquées (CMAP) at École Polytechnique, within the group Mécanique, matériaux et optimisation de formes (MMOF). This position was funded by the SOFIA (SOlutions pour la Fabrication Industrielle Additive métallique) project. 

In 2017, I worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre for Biotechnology and Bioengineering (CeBiB) at the Universidad de Chile.

I earned my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics in 2016 from Departamento de Ingeniería Matemática (DIM) at the Universidad de Chile and l'École Doctorale MITT "Mathématiques, Informatique, Télécommunications de Toulouse" at the Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse (IMT) at Université Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier, under the direction of my advisors Carlos CONCA at the Universidad de Chile and Fabien CAUBET at the Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse.

In 2013, I completed my undergraduate studies, majoring in Mathematical Engineering, at the Department of Mathematical Engineering at the Universidad de Chile. My thesis work, titled "Some Theoretical and Numerical Results for Digital Image Processing," was conducted under the supervision of Jaime ORTEGA.
