For the 2025-2026 school year, all tutoring sessions will take place online.
My students find online sessions just as valuable as in-person sessions. Online sessions work best when students have an iPad, tablet or other device that allows them to write on the screen. Before each session, I send a link to a Google Meet and a link to a virtual whiteboard on Classkick. We talk and see each other over Google Meet while we both write on the virtual whiteboard. The student and I can both upload pictures and documents to the whiteboard to write on as well.
Check out the "What to Expect" page for detailed info!
Students will form a small group themselves and contact me as a group. Students will typically form a group with a group of their classmates or a group of their friends. Students should be from the same school in the same course but they do not necessarily need to have the same teacher; this will ensure that the specific school's standards are covered. Small groups are usually between 2-4 students.
Tutoring sessions are one hour long. Most students choose to meet once a week, but many students prefer to meet twice a week or will sometimes schedule an additional session occassionally.
That's fine! I would just ask for a little more work from the student before our session; because I am not familiar with you and your work and strengths and challenges, I request that you send me any review materials your teacher has posted as well as any previous graded work of yours. This will give me a jumping off point so that we can use our time efficiently during your session.
One-on-one sessions are $80 per session. Small group sessions are $50 per student per session.
