We are an online startup, in the mathematical education sector.
We aim to provide insight into the mathematical character of widely used computational software (such as scikit-learn and SciPy) through the provision of eBooks and online courses.
There is no doubting the current significance of computational modelling in scientific, engineering and commercial fields, and the advances that are achieved through computational technology.
Broadly speaking, computational models fall into two categories: state-based models, which usually require the solution of equations that describe the state of the system being studied; and data-based models, where data describing the past behavior of a system is used to develop some understanding of the system, in the absence of equations of state.
These models all require the implementation of computational algorithms: Runge-Kutta methods and finite-element techniques, for example, are often used in state-based models. Machine- or statistical learning techniques and neural networks are often employed in data-based models.
We hope that our products will appeal to all who are interested in computational modelling, including scholars, academics, data scientists, computational scientists and even hobbyists.
