AMC8 for beginners

Pre-recorded Course

This course is designed for students who have either completed my PreAlgebra Class or will enter 7th grade in the upcoming fall. The lectures will cover various topics including Number theory, Geometry, and Probability, amongst others. The problems to be discussed in class will be specifically selected from previous Mathcounts contests, focusing on the countdown part. Each week, students will receive one set of Mathcounts countdown consisting of 80 problems as their homework. These practice problems will help reinforce the concepts covered in class and further develop the students’ math skills. By the end of the course, students should be well-prepared to proceed to the Advanced Math class. If you have any further questions or would like additional information, please don’t hesitate to ask.
