I'm a university researcher in the field of Theoretical Physics, and I have a PhD in Physics. Teaching is what I like most, and I have a long experience in lecturing.Â
I have teaching experience both at high-school level and university level. I've been supervising bachelor students for they BS/MS thesis. I can tutor:
Junior Cert and Leaving Cert students
University students struggling with maths, statistics and physics, from different background (engineering, physics, business, computer science, etc)
If you struggle with maths, it doesn't necessarily mean you are bad at it: most of the times it's simply because you had a bad teacher! My approach is to build a relationship based on trust with the student. According to my experience, I have learned that usually teachers struggle to impose their own method to students, and this very often leads to a failure. On the contrary, I am convinced that each student has a different learning path, which I try to follow leveraging his/her strengths. My aim is to make students understand *deeply* the heart of the matter, and not only being able to mechanically solve exercises.
