Above is the same classroom after Maths Ed Ghana supported them with furniture. In March 2015 Maths Ed Ghana supported Sokabisi primary school by fully furnishing the year 6 classroom. We fitted a new whiteboard in the classroom, refurbished the existing blackboard and provided 40 chairs, 20 two seater desks for the year 6 students. We also provided 7 desks and 7 chairs for the teachers of the primary school.

Building the school: A state of the art Maths Hub

The plan is to complete the school project in phases.

Stage 1: Land was purchased in 2006
Stage 2: The design and building permission has been granted
Stage 3: The building has started (see work in progress below)

Stage 4: Build the 1st classroom(started August 2024)

Target: To complete 4 classrooms out of the 8 classrooms proposed.
