Welcome to the website of the Department of Mathematics, Acharya Narendra Dev Kisan P. G. College, Babhnan, Gonda, U. P. affiliated to Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The Department of Mathematics in the college was initiated with the establishment of the Science faculty of the college in July 1993. Its founding members were Dr. Pandey, Dr. P. N. Dubey, Dr. R. N. Shukla, who took this department to new heights in achievements. Dr. R. N. Shukla had served the department from 1998 to 25 May 2017. The department is famous for imparting quality education in the field of Mathematics for undergraduate students in a remote area (babhnan) of U. P. It has produced several scholars with ultimate talent, who are fulfilling the aspirations of society with their several capacities. The department has the privilege of having eminent teachers (including self-finance teachers), who have served the department as well as the college with different capacities.

The moto of the department is to produce perfect human resources to be capable of tackling problems of modern society. The main emphasis of the department is to impart not only subject-based knowledge but also practical-based ability, which will certainly fulfill the aim of quality education in Higher Educational Institutions of the government. Currently, the Department of Mathematics has two faculty members, one has specialization in pure Mathematics and another has expertise in applied Mathematics. The department is progressing ahead under the worthy leadership of Mr. Shesh Kumar Pandey and with the support of Mr. P. C. Yadav.
