We are developing software to decrease the time required to simulate clusters. Also, we use thermodynamic functions, such as the entropy, to characterize fractals growth with different dynamics, often mixed.
Fractals can be found in many places in natural structures such as trees, alveoli structures in the lungs, circulatory system, crystal growth, cancerous cell growth, etc.
Characterizing fractal growth, and understanding the physical phenomena that governs such growth, is of great importance in several fields.
