MathLand is an educational Android application designed to help children learn and practice mathematics through a gamified experience. It transforms standard math exercises into an engaging "adventure" where kids can earn rewards and track their progress.
Privacy Policy for MathLand
At MathLand, we take the privacy of our users, especially children, very seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in our mobile application.
1. No Personal Data Collection
MathLand is designed to be a safe environment for children.
We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or precise location data.
Offline Operation: The app does not require an internet connection to function and does not transmit any data from your device to our servers or any third parties.
2. Local Data Storage
All progress and profile information is stored locally on your device. This includes:
Child Profiles: Usernames and chosen animal avatars.
Game Statistics: Number of problems solved, accuracy percentages, high scores, and session history.
Parental Settings: The 4-digit Parent PIN.
This data remains on your device and is not accessible by us. If you delete the app, this locally stored data will be permanently removed.
3. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR)
Our app is built with children’s safety in mind and complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
We do not require children to enter any personal information.
We do not use any tracking or behavioral advertising.
There are no social media integrations or external links in the child-accessible areas of the app.
4. Third-Party Services
MathLand does not use any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising networks that collect or track user data.
5. Permissions
The app requires minimal permissions to function. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or location.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since the app does not collect contact information, we encourage parents to review this policy periodically within the app store listing.

How to use this:
Replace the bracketed information [Like this] with your actual details.
For Google Play: You will need to host this text on a public website (you can use a simple GitHub Page, Google Doc shared publicly, or a free site builder) and provide the link in the Google Play Console under Policy > Privacy Policy.
COPPA Compliance: Since your app is for kids, Google will ask if your app is "Primarily Directed to Children." Answering "Yes" and having this "No Data Collection" policy makes the approval process much smoother.
