PhD trainee at the European Central Bank - DG Macroprudential Policy and Financial Stability

I am a fourth-year PhD student in the Department of Economics at Ghent University (Belgium). My main research field is empirical banking and I focus on the impact of bank regulation, diversification and dividend payout policies on bank performance and risk.

For my research, I obtained funding from the Ghent University Special Research Fund (BOF, 2020-2021) and the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO-Vlaanderen, 2021-2024). I worked as a PhD trainee at the European Central Bank.
