Math Galaxy - Privacy Policy

Math Galaxy is developed by Sparkle Infotech ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the Math Galaxy mobile application (the "App") handles your information.
1. INFORMATION YOU ENTER (STORED ON YOUR DEVICE)
The data you enter in the App — including your game progress, high scores, completed math puzzle history, sound/music preferences, and study milestones — is stored only on your device using local storage (AsyncStorage). We do not collect, transmit, or have access to this data, and it is never sent to our servers.
2. ADVERTISING
Math Galaxy displays advertisements using Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain data, including:
* Your device's advertising identifier (such as the Advertising ID)
* IP address and approximate location
* App usage and interaction data
This data is handled and processed by Google in accordance with its policies, not by us.

3. CONSENT (EEA, UK & SWITZERLAND)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent form when you first open the App, allowing you to choose how your data is used for ads. You can change your choice at any time from within the App's settings.
4. YOUR CHOICES
You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads at any time in your device settings:
* Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization (or Reset advertising ID).
5. DATA STORAGE & RETENTION
All the puzzle records and game stats remain locally on your device until you clear the App's data, use any reset features in the App, or uninstall the App (which permanently deletes all local storage data). We do not operate any external servers or databases that store your gameplay history.
6. NOTIFICATIONS
If you switch on play reminders in Settings, the App schedules them on your
device, by your device. Nothing about them is sent to us or to anyone else —
we do not know whether a reminder was delivered, seen, or opened, and no
notification data ever leaves your phone.
Reminders are only sent after you have not opened the App for a while, never
while you are playing, and there are at most three before they stop on their
own. You can turn them off at any time in the App's Settings, or in your
device's notification settings. The App works exactly the same with reminders
switched off.
7. PERMISSIONS
The App requests the following device permissions to run its features:
* Modify Audio Settings (MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS): Used to play sound effects, background music, and read math equations aloud using speech synthesis (Text-to-Speech) for a highly interactive learning experience.
* Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Only requested if you switch on play
reminders. It is never requested when you first open the App, and declining it
does not affect anything else.
This permission is used solely to run the App's core audio and speech features — we do not use it to collect, record, or transmit your voice or personal data.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Math Galaxy is designed to be family-friendly and educational. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. All gameplay data is stored offline on the user's device. Advertising displayed via Google AdMob is configured to serve appropriate ads for all age groups in accordance with Google's COPPA and child safety guidelines.
9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
