My artistic inspiration also came from the Dorset countryside where I grew up. I was also inspired by a local artist, Burt Boston; Largely unknown - you wont find him on google - but known to me and many in the town. He taught me much about art and helped me pursue it with my heart. 

I studied Weymouth Art College then, for three years in Heartforshire where I qualified as a Fine Artist in 2001. 

In 2004 I had the opportunity to teach in an Academy in Hungary. Some time later, I began to teach art to Home Schooled children and subsequently I began to teach art to children between the ages of 5 and 16, teaching in a private school for three years; I also taught geography, technology and physical education. 

Over the next twenty years, I developed a body of work which enabled me to exhibit. I helped set up an exhibition for people in the community which led to involvement with a couple of pop up  galleries in Plymouth city centre. From that point onwards fairs and local craft events became common place for me to show and sell my artwork. More recently I have produced designs for T-shirts and other products.
