The Sticks is a community woodshop where MAC has been developing a series of stained glass workshops, starting with:
Stained Glass 101: One of a kind flowers
Using precut and sanded glass that MAC prepares in advance, students design and assemble their own unique flowers with copper foil and leaded solder. In a consolidated 2hr workshop students are instructed on safety and technique, then allowed to use as many materials as they like to create up to 3 flowers.
Classes are availble now at thesticks.net/classesandworkshops
Since Rebuilding Exchange’s inception, public workshops have been at the heart of our mission. From our first Make It Take It classes to our lineup of woodworking, home improvement, and creative reuse workshops, we’ve built a community dedicated to learning new skills and advancing sustainability together.
