Introduction

Palm Studio built the Mathclass Challange app as an Ad-supported application. This SERVICE is provided by Palm Studio at no cost and is intended for use "AS IS" by everyone, including children, students, teens, adults, and families. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all our users, especially children, and complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play Family Policies.

Information Collection and Use

Privacy for All Ages

Our App is designed to be safe for all ages, from children to adults. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information (such as real names, addresses, email addresses, or phone numbers) from any users.

The Application may collect limited technical information when you download and use it, such as:

• Device type and operating system

• App usage statistics (time spent, pages visited)

• Crash logs and performance data

• Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)

We do NOT collect:

• Personal names or contact information

• Precise location data

• Photos, videos, or audio recordings

• Any information that can identify a specific individual

All data collected is anonymous, aggregated, and used solely to maintain and improve the internal operations of the application. This data is not used to create user profiles or track users across other apps or websites.

Advertising (AdMob) - Family-Safe Ads

We use AdMob (by Google) to display advertisements to support our development. To ensure the safety of all our users, especially children, and compliance with COPPA and Google Play Family Policies, we have implemented the following protections:

• TagForChildDirectedTreatment = True: This setting is enabled in our code to inform AdMob that our content is appropriate for children and families.

• G-Rated Content Only: All ads are filtered to show only General Audience content appropriate for children and families.

• NO Personalized Ads: We do NOT serve personalized or behavioral advertising. AdMob does not collect personal information for ad targeting.

• Limited Data Collection: AdMob may collect only non-personal device identifiers solely for:

  • Frequency capping (limiting how often an ad is shown)

  • Fraud prevention and security

  • Basic analytics (anonymous, aggregated data only)

AdMob does NOT collect, use, or share any personal information from users for advertising purposes. 

Third Party Services

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

• Google Play Services

• AdMob

• Unity

These services operate under strict compliance with COPPA and family-friendly policies.

The Service Provider may disclose automatically collected technical information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;

• when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect the safety of users (especially children), investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;

• with their trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

Data Safety

We collect only minimal technical data (such as crash logs and app performance data) solely to maintain and improve the internal operations of the application. This data:

• Is anonymous and aggregated

• Cannot be used to identify individual users

• Is not used to track users across other apps or websites

• Is not shared with third parties except as required for app functionality

Parental Rights (For Users Under 13)

Parents and legal guardians of children under 13 have the right to:

• Review any information collected from their child (though we collect no personal information)

• Request deletion of any data related to their child's device

• Refuse to allow further collection of information

• Contact us with any concerns about privacy practices

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy

Since we do not collect personal information, there is no personal data to retain. Technical data (crash logs, performance metrics) is retained only as long as necessary for app maintenance and improvement, typically no longer than 90 days.

Children's Privacy - COPPA Compliance

This Application is designed to be safe for children aged 6 and above and fully complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect, use, or share personal information from children under 13.

In the case the Service Provider discovers that personal information has been inadvertently collected from a child under 13, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify users of any material changes to this Privacy Policy by updating this page. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

Your Consent

By using the Application (or allowing your child to use it), you are consenting to the processing of technical information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use or allow your child to use the Application.
