Introduction
Welcome to Mathbit (“we”, “our”, “us”). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application Mathbit (the “App”).
Information We Collect
(a) Personal Data
We do not collect, store, or share personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
(b) Usage Data (Anonymous)
To improve the app experience, we may collect limited, anonymous usage and technical data such as:
App version and device model
Basic interaction data, such as feature usage, session length, button taps, screen visits, selected difficulty levels, and general app usage patterns
Crash logs and performance analytics through Google Play services, Firebase, or similar tools, if used
This data is not intended to directly identify you and is used to improve app performance, stability, usability, and reliability.
(c) Math Practice Data / Scores / Saved Items
Mathbit may store app content such as:
Math practice scores and result records
Difficulty level selections
Correct and incorrect answer counts
Practice history, recent records, streaks, or progress records (if available)
Daily or random question status (if available)
Sound, vibration, notification, theme, and other app-related preferences
On-device Storage: These records are stored locally on your device.
No Upload by Us: We do not upload your math practice history, scores, answers, or saved items to our own servers.
Sharing is User-Initiated: If you choose to share exported text, images, screenshots, or results, that content is handled by the destination app or service under its own privacy policy.
(d) Local App Data (Settings & Preferences)
Mathbit may store the following information locally on your device:
App settings and preferences, such as language selection, sound on/off, vibration settings, notification settings, theme options, difficulty preferences, or UI preferences
Local caches and app resources used for faster loading
Practice-related temporary data used to maintain app functionality
This information is stored only on your device using local storage technologies such as SharedPreferences, local databases, or similar methods. We do not sync this data to our own servers.
(e) Notifications
If the App provides daily or random math question reminders, notification settings may be stored locally on your device. The App may use your device’s notification system to send practice reminders if you enable this feature.
We do not use notifications to collect personal information. You can disable notifications at any time through the App settings or your device settings.
(f) Advertising & Billing Data
If the App displays ads through Google AdMob or similar ad networks, those providers may collect advertising identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID, to show personalized or non-personalized ads. You can manage or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
The App may also use Google Play Billing or similar services to process in-app purchases, such as removing ads or unlocking premium features. Billing data, including purchase history, is handled by Google according to its own policies. We do not receive your full payment details.
(g) Clipboard / Sharing Features (If Used)
If the App provides copy, export, or share-related features, copied or shared content is handled through system services on your device. We do not receive clipboard contents.
Data Storage and Security
We do not store user data on our own servers. App settings, caches, practice history, scores, progress records, and other saved app data are stored locally on your device.
No personal data is transmitted externally by us, aside from what is handled by third-party services such as ads, analytics, crash reporting, and billing under their own policies.
We take reasonable measures within the scope of a mobile app to protect the data stored on your device, but you are also responsible for keeping your device secure.
Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services that can collect information used to identify you or your device. These may include, but are not limited to:
Google AdMob – for displaying ads
Google Play Services / Firebase – for analytics, crash reporting, or diagnostics, if used
Google Play Billing – for handling in-app purchases
These third parties have their own privacy policies that govern how they use your data. We encourage you to review their policies before using the App.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not specifically directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
