MathBay respects your privacy.

Information We Collect

MathBay does not collect personally identifiable information such as names, addresses, or phone numbers. The app may process user-entered math questions to generate AI-based responses. This data is used only to provide the requested functionality.

MathBay uses the Facebook SDK which automatically collects the following data for advertising and analytics purposes:

• Device advertising identifier (IDFA/Device ID)

• App usage and interaction data (app launches, taps)

• Subscription purchase events (plan type and price)

You will be asked for permission before any advertising tracking occurs. You can change your tracking preference at any time in your device Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Subscriptions

All payments and subscription management are handled securely by Apple. MathBay does not store or process payment information. Subscription events (plan type and price) are shared with Facebook SDK solely for advertising performance measurement.

Third-Party Services

MathBay uses the following third-party services:

Google Gemini (Google LLC) — Powers AI-based math responses. User-entered math questions may be processed by Google's Gemini API to generate responses. This data is used strictly to provide app functionality and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Meta (Facebook SDK) — Used for advertising measurement and analytics. Facebook may collect device identifiers and app usage data to measure ad performance. This data is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable for MathBay.

Data Retention

User inputs are not stored for long-term tracking or profiling. Facebook SDK data is retained according to Meta's data retention policies.

App Tracking Transparency

In accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, MathBay will request your permission before tracking your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you deny permission, MathBay will continue to function normally but advertising measurement will be limited.

Children's Privacy

MathBay is designed for educational use. The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided personal information should contact us at Mathbay2026@gmail.com. We will promptly delete any such information upon request.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Opt out of tracking at any time via device Settings

• Request deletion of any data associated with your device

• Contact us with any privacy concerns
