FRANCE-ECUADOR-CHILE
WAFFLE is a cohesive collaborative network between researchers in France, Ecuador and Chile specialized in fluid dynamics from a mathematical point of view. WAFFLE is working on
i) Deep harmonic analysis of Navier-Stokes and Euler models,
ii) The comprehensive understanding of the dynamics in water wave models, and
iii) A profound work on 2D fluid dispersive models such as KP, ZK, and more recently, studies in Fluids appearing in Climatology and General Relativity.
We are a forming group with broad interests and high synergy looking for the advance of Science and Mathematics in Latin America through the U. Paris-Saclay, Ecuadorian Amarun and Valdivia Alphanumeria outreach initiatives.

WAFFLE reunites researchers from two independent domains in PDEs: fluids, and dispersive models.
Given the proposed set of subproblems, there is a natural exchange of ideas, travels and workshop presentations proposed that naturally leads to an explicit synergic interaction.
There are mixed contributions among each of the three countries involved. This proposed collaboration is genuinely built on strong foundations.
WAFFLE is composed of 4 female and 6 male researchers. Among them,
Four coordinators, of recognized senior experience and excellence in research.
Three junior researchers (1 MdC, 1 Assistant Professor and 1 postdoc).
Three students (1 PhD and 2 Masters).
We are a group of 10 people. Regional universities in Chile and Ecuador are also represented by Poblete and Jarrín.
Additionally, WAFFLE is formed by two groups of researchers merging fluid dynamics and dispersive models in an appropriate and smooth fashion.
In that sense, the complementarity is well ensured by recent joint works, common recent events, research projects, visits and exchange of students.
