Below I have an overview of what our course will look like.
As our class will be online, there are no specific class times!
Most of our assignments will be submitted through Canvas. You will read one page of notes and then answer a few homework questions directly after. Once you complete a module, there will be a quiz on that material.
In addition to your notes on Canvas, there is an optional printed workbook. I will be posting additional videos going through the workbook. You can pick up a copy for free at the bookstore!
Our course will not have traditional exams!
There will 3 short "interview quizzes" aka, oral exams. These will be required to pass the class.
For grades above a C, you will need to take additional proctored quizzes.
We will not have a final exam! Instead, you work on projects throughout the semester.
We will be using StatCrunch, an online stats software, in our course. Like our workbook, the campus is going to be providing your StatCrunch access for free!
StatCrunch works through your web browser and should work well on any laptop, computer, or Chromebook. It may not work well on mobile devices. You can check out a Chromebook from the Library for the semester.
