I want to give you an overview of how I approach learning mathematics and my classroom style.
Intuition. Many math topics can be approached with intuition and a goal.
Trust. We may not need a proof or formula, but we should convince ourselves that our technique is reasonable.
Elegance. Math can be both beautiful and elegant. Even Statistics!
Big Picture. We should know how it fits in the big picture or purpose.
Groups. You will often learn more by working and discussing with peers.
Guided learning. Instead of telling you, I may instead guide you to and through new topics.
Big picture. You will be asked to know the content in a big picture context.

I am also the Math Club advisor on campus. We discuss fun math topics, careers, and in general have a good time. Come on by!
Still reading? Outside of academics, I enjoy outdoor activities such as bike riding, hiking, and skiing. I'm also an avid racquetball player; come play at LA Fitness! I watch too much anime and spend too much time working on and driving my cars. đŸ˜…
