Resizing on MS Word
Used the Graph Grid Generator, tried to print it but the scale still comes out wrong?
Step 1
Insert the grid image into MS Word. In the example here, it is a 14 cm by 13 cm grid.
Click on the grid image in MS Word. The ribbon "Picture Format" should appear.
On the right side of the ribbon,
Step 2
In the width / height, key in the desired width or height in cm. You must also key in "cm" so that MS Word does not interpret the value as inches.
MS Word will convert the value into inches. Don't worry about it. 😎
Step 3
Upon printing (and depending on the printer settings and scaling), the scale may not be 100% accurate. You will then need to "mathematically scale" the resizing. (Yes, put the Sec 2 topic to practical use! 😅😅😅)
Let length in MS Word = 13 cm,
Let printed length = 13.1 cm (use a ruler to measure this!)
Let desired length = 13 cm.
Therefore, the new width in MS Word should be (13 × 13) ÷ 13.1 = 12.9007
And, voila! It should be done! 😊
