The "Mathematics of Imaging Data and ML" mini-symposium celebrates the achievements of Michael (Miki) Elad (Technion), one of the recipients of the 2024 Rothschild Prize. This gathering is designed to spark discussions on the impact of Miki's research fields and to introduce young scholars to the high levels of scientific achievement in Israel and beyond.
Machine learning and inverse problems are pivotal in numerous applications, catalyzing major advancements in medical tomography, self-driving cars, disease diagnostics, and more. Recent progress in machine learning, image restoration, and generative models presents new opportunities for tackling real-world challenges.
This half-day mini-symposium gathers a diverse group of experts who are advancing the fields of machine learning and imaging science.
