Math Cards is a mobile application developed by JanoGroup LLC to help users practice arithmetic, build math skills, and track their progress.
The app offers addition and subtraction practice, mixed addition/subtraction exercises, and Premium activities such as multiplication, division, times tables, percents, powers, and square roots.
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information Math Cards processes, how it is used and stored, which third-party services may receive information, and what choices you have.
This policy describes the app's current functionality. It does not mean that all information remains on your device: practice data is stored locally, while subscription and paywall information is processed through RevenueCat and the applicable app store.
1. Accounts and Personal Information
Math Cards does not require you to create an account or sign in to a JanoGroup LLC account.
The app does not request your name, email address, password, phone number, school, or date of birth as part of its math-practice features.
RevenueCat creates an anonymous app-user identifier to support subscription services. "Anonymous" means that Math Cards does not supply your name or email with this identifier; it does not mean that subscription activity is unidentifiable or that the identifier cannot be linked to transaction information.
If you contact us voluntarily, we may receive your email address, message, and any information or attachments you choose to provide. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not necessary for your request.
2. Math Practice and Progress
Math Cards processes information needed to run exercises and display results, including:
- selected math operation or practice mode
- selected times table
- generated questions and answers entered into the number pad
- current question position and unfinished game progress
- correct and incorrect answer counts
- scores, accuracy, and elapsed practice time
- completed game dates and number ranges
This information is stored locally on your device in the current version of the app.
Math Cards does not currently upload your individual math answers, exercise questions, scores, or completed practice history to JanoGroup LLC or RevenueCat through its practice features. We do not operate a separate server for storing or synchronizing this practice data.
3. Local App Data
Math Cards uses local device storage, including SharedPreferences, to retain:
- operation and times-table selections
- question-count and number-range settings
- dark/light mode and color-theme preferences
- sound and feedback preferences
- onboarding completion status
- accumulated usage time and whether an app-review request has been made
- completed game history
- checkpoints for an unfinished game
These records support personalization, progress tracking, recovery of unfinished exercises, and the timing of an app-store review prompt.
The app retains up to the most recent 100 completed game results. If saved history cannot be read, the app may preserve a local backup of the unreadable history to avoid silently discarding the original data.
Local data is intended to survive ordinary app relaunches and updates. Depending on your device settings, it may also be included in operating-system backups managed by Apple or Google. Math Cards does not provide its own cloud backup or cross-device synchronization for practice history.
4. Purchases, Trials, and Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions and any introductory offers are processed by the applicable app store, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play, with RevenueCat providing subscription infrastructure.
Subscription-related information may include:
- product and package identifiers
- purchase receipts or equivalent transaction-validation information
- transaction identifiers and purchase dates
- active subscriptions and Premium entitlement status
- subscription expiration, renewal, cancellation, or billing-issue status
- introductory-offer and free-trial eligibility
- storefront, currency, and product-pricing information
- an anonymous RevenueCat app-user identifier
- limited device, app, platform, and network information needed to deliver and maintain the service
This information is used to validate purchases, grant or remove Premium access, display appropriate offers, restore purchases, handle subscription changes, and help diagnose subscription-service problems.
JanoGroup LLC and RevenueCat do not receive your complete payment-card details through Math Cards. The applicable app store handles billing and payment credentials according to its own policies.
Premium access is checked using RevenueCat subscription information rather than a permanent local Premium flag. RevenueCat may cache subscription information on your device and maintain subscription records on its servers.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Uninstalling Math Cards, clearing local app data, or deleting practice history does not cancel a subscription.
5. Paywall Events and Experiments
Math Cards uses RevenueCat Offerings and their configuration to display subscription options. RevenueCat may assign different subscription-offer or paywall variants to users through experiments or targeting.
These variants may include a dismissible Soft Paywall or a Hard Paywall that requires an active subscription before the gated flow can continue.
When a configured custom paywall is displayed, the app sends a paywall-impression event to RevenueCat. That event includes the Offering identifier and associated presentation or targeting context. Purchases use the package associated with the displayed Offering.
Paywall and subscription information may be used to understand which offers users view, evaluate purchase conversion, compare experiment variants, and improve the subscription experience.
This processing concerns the app's offers and subscription experience. The app does not send individual math questions or answers with these paywall events, and does not use this functionality for third-party targeted advertising.
6. Technical Information and Font Delivery
Services used by Math Cards may process limited technical information needed to operate, such as an IP address associated with a network request, operating-system or SDK version, locale, and service diagnostics.
Math Cards uses the Google Fonts library for interface typography. If a required font is not available locally or in the device's font cache, the library may download the font from a Google-operated font service and cache it on the device. Such a request may disclose technical request information, including an IP address, to the font-service provider. Math answers and practice history are not included in these font requests.
Apple, Google, app stores, operating systems, and device manufacturers may independently process installation, purchase, crash, diagnostic, or usage information according to their own privacy policies and your device settings.
Information described in this policy is used to:
- provide math-practice and progress-tracking features
- save preferences and restore unfinished exercises
- process and validate subscriptions and restore Premium access
- present Store-provided prices and eligible introductory offers
- deliver and evaluate paywall experiments
- determine when to request an app-store review
- respond to support or privacy inquiries
- maintain the reliability and security of the app and its services
- comply with applicable legal obligations
Math Cards does not currently use an artificial-intelligence service to process your practice questions, answers, or game history.
Math Cards does not include third-party advertising SDKs in its current version.
We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising through the app's current functionality.
Math Cards does not currently collect advertising identifiers for advertising, display third-party ads, or use cross-app behavioral advertising tracking.
Subscription analytics, paywall impressions, and RevenueCat experiments still involve data processing as described above. The absence of ads does not mean the app has no analytics or third-party network requests.
The current math-practice functionality does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location.
Math Cards uses internet connectivity for subscription services and, when necessary, font downloads. It may use sound and vibration or haptic feedback for interactions.
The current app does not implement or request user opt-in for practice-reminder or trial-reminder notifications, and does not schedule such reminders. Platform configuration may contain notification-related declarations; those declarations do not themselves mean that the app sends notifications.
Math Cards relies on third-party services and software, including:
- RevenueCat:subscription validation, entitlement management, Offerings, paywall analytics, and experiments
- Apple App Store and Apple platform services: distribution, billing, purchase restoration, reviews, and device services
- Google Play and Google platform services: distribution, billing where configured, reviews, and device services
- Google Fonts: interface typography and font delivery when needed
- Flutter and device storage libraries: interface rendering and local persistence
Third-party processing is subject to the applicable agreements, privacy practices, and legal obligations of those providers. For additional information:

Information may be disclosed when necessary to:
- operate subscription services through RevenueCat and the applicable app store
- provide font delivery or essential platform functionality
- respond to a support request you initiate
- comply with applicable law, legal process, or valid government requests
- protect the rights, safety, or security of users, JanoGroup LLC, or others
Individual math-practice records are not currently shared with these services by the app's practice features. Device backups are separately managed by the operating system and your backup settings.
We take reasonable steps to design Math Cards with privacy and security in mind. Practice records are primarily maintained locally, and subscription processing is handled through established service providers.
No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security for information stored on your device, included in backups, sent in support messages, or processed by third-party services.
Local preferences and history are not an app-level encrypted vault. Protect your device using an appropriate passcode, biometric authentication, and available operating-system security features.
Local preferences and progress may remain until you clear app data, uninstall the app, reset relevant information, or the operating system removes it. Completed history is limited to the most recent 100 results.
The in-app Clear History action deletes the active completed-game history. It does not necessarily delete unfinished-game checkpoints, preferences, a previously preserved backup of unreadable history, operating-system backups, or subscription records.
RevenueCat and the app stores may retain subscription records and associated service information as needed to deliver their services, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Their records are not automatically erased when you uninstall the app.
Support correspondence may be retained as reasonably necessary to respond to your request and satisfy applicable obligations.
You may:
- use available free practice features without purchasing Premium
- choose practice modes and change local app settings
- clear completed history from the app
- clear local app data where your operating system permits, or uninstall the app
- manage device backups and diagnostic-sharing settings
- manage or cancel subscriptions through your app-store account
- choose whether to submit a review when a platform review prompt appears
- contact us about information processed in connection with Math Cards
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Where applicable, you may also have a right to withdraw consent or lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.
Contact us to make a request. We may need reasonable information to verify and locate the relevant records. Because practice data is held locally rather than in our own database, we may not be able to access or delete that data remotely.
We will address requests in accordance with applicable law, including any permitted exceptions or retention requirements. Apple, Google, or other providers may also need to handle requests concerning records they independently control.
Math Cards provides educational math practice that may be used by younger users. The app does not ask users to provide a name, email address, school, or date of birth, and it does not include chat, public profiles, or third-party advertising.
Subscription and paywall services nevertheless process technical identifiers, transaction information, and related events as described in this policy. We do not represent that all third-party processing is absent when a child uses the app.
Parents and guardians should supervise use by younger children, control purchases through app-store parental settings, and avoid including a child's personal details in support correspondence unless necessary.
We do not knowingly solicit directly identifying personal information from children under 13, or under the applicable local age threshold, through the app's practice features. If you believe a child's information has been processed inappropriately in connection with Math Cards, contact us so that we can review the matter and take appropriate action.
RevenueCat, Apple, Google, and other service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence. Those countries may have different data-protection laws.
Where applicable, international processing is subject to relevant legal requirements and safeguards under our service arrangements and the providers' applicable terms.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in Math Cards, service providers, legal requirements, or privacy practices.
Updates will be identified by a revised Effective Date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes.
