From an early age, music has been an integral part of my life. I grew up going to my grandpa's concerts and listening to all forms of music in my dad's car. This influence led me to pick up the flute in 5th grade. I have been playing ever since, totaling around 7 years of experience. In that time, I developed my skills through middle school and the Burbank High Concert Band. This ultimately landed me in Burbank High School's Advanced Wind Ensemble where I play collegiate level music as a flute/piccolo player. I was also a member of the Burbank High School Marching Band where I performed as a soloist during my junior and senior year. In a culmination of my time in band, I received the honor of becoming the President of the BHS Instrumental Music program for the 2024-25 school year. In this role, I lead my other council members in meetings and fundraisers, coordinate with administration and businesses, and execute social events.
I joined the Burbank High School Track and Field team in the second semester of my freshman year and have been an active member ever since. Over the duration of my track career, I have participated in many events including the long jump, 4x100m relay, 4x400m relay, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m races. After becoming a varsity runner in my sophomore year, I became more specialized in sprinting with my main events consisting of both aforementioned relays, the 100m, 200m, and 400m. Now, in my senior year, I am one of the leading runners on my team, holding the fastest 400m time. The BHS track team has placed second in the league every year that I have been a more, so we are hoping to secure first this year!

Starting out in Cub Scouts as a Bear rank, I have been in the Scouting America circuit for over 9 years. I have been on many adventures including various summer camps and high adventure experiences such as Philmont Scout Ranch, where I backpacked for over 60+ miles in the New Mexico backcountry. In November 2024, my experiences culminated in my Eagle Scout rank, the highest rank possible in Scouting America. Only around 5-6% of Scouts earn this rank, so I am extremely proud of this achievement. I have earned 22 merit badges, performed 31 hours of service, and hiked/backpacked over 130 miles. Getting Eagle also led me to perform in various leadership roles such as Scribe, Assistant Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, and Outdoor Ethics Guide.
Joining in my Junior year of high school, I was a part of the Robotics Club for only a brief period of time. However, this did not stop this from being one of my most unique experiences to date. Every year, the team receives a "game" from the First Robotics Competition (FRC). The team then has to work together to build a functioning robot to compete in this game. As a member of Fabrication, my role was to actually build the robot. My main achievement for the season was constructing two climber arms. These arms were an essential part of the robot because it was the only way that the robot could finish the game and receive extra points. This experience gave me a surplus of experience in power tool and measuring device usage.
