My name is Mateusz Piorkowski and I welcome you to my personal website! I am a researcher in the area of mathematical physics and integrability. My main expertise lies in the asymptotic analysis of Riemann-Hilbert problems,  integrable PDEs (like the KdV equation), random tiling models, Sturm–Liouville theory and orthogonal polynomials.

Currently, I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Mathematical Sciences of Durham University. Here I work with Sunil Chhita on problems related to random tilings.
