I am a PhD candidate and applied microeconomist at the University of Tübingen. From January 2027, I will join the Chair of Public Economics at the University of Freiburg as a postdoctoral researcher.
My research agenda focuses on public finance and development, examining how governments in developing countries can strengthen their capacity to raise revenue and deliver public goods. I am a research affiliate at the Research School of International Taxation (RSIT) and the Global Labor Organization (GLO).
My research interests are:
Primary: Public Economics
Secondary: Development Economics, Economics of Crime, and International Taxation
I am a visiting researcher at the Deutsche Bundesbank. I have also provided consulting to the World Bank Group and the Inter-American Development Bank.
