Arlete Apolinário (AA) is an young researcher in nanoscience and nanotechnology focused on developing 3^rd generation of solar cells: nanostructured semiconductors for photoelectrochemical and dye-sensitized solar cells applications. She completed her PhD in Physics–Nanotechnology in March 2015, at University of Porto. Her’s accomplishments includes the high impact work in the topic of anodic TiO₂ nanotubes developed during her PhD; this was an highly explored topic, and she was able to contribute to this area performing important work with novelty and great impact.
