Since June 2025 I am a postdoc at the Mathematics and Theoretical Physics group at the University of Hertfordshire (United Kingdom), working with Prof. Charles Strickland-Constable as part of his EPSRC grant Geometric Structures and Twisted Supersymmetry.
Between 2022 and 2025 I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Differential Geometry group in the University of Hamburg (Germany) under the supervision of Prof. Vicente Cortés. I was part of the Cluster of Excellence Quantum Universe and as such I interacted regularly with the String Theory groups at DESY and the Institute for Theoretical Physics in Hamburg.
I obtained my DPhil in Mathematics (a.k.a. PhD) from the University of Oxford (Wolfson College), UK, in 2022, under the supervision of Prof. Xenia de la Ossa.
Before that, I completed an MSc in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics at the University of Oxford (Hertford College), UK, in 2018, being awarded a distinction. I was funded by a La Caixa Fellowship for postgraduate studies.
My first experience with research was actually during my bachelor, as part of a JAE intro scholarship supervised by Prof. Mario Garcia-Fernandez in the summer of 2016.
I did a doble grado (double BA) in Mathematics and Physics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain) between 2012 and 2017, obtaining a 3rd place at national level in the Premio Nacional de Fin de Carrera for my BA in Physics.
I am particularly fond of my time in secondary school at I.E.S. La Estrella, where I developed my passion for mathematics and physics. During my time there I actually obtained (another) 3rd place at the Premio Nacional de Bachillerato.
Giving a talk at String Math 22 in Warsaw, Poland.
