The first match was played Thursday afternoon, October 27, with Alexander/Styles winning 3 and 2.
The championship match was played Friday morning, October 28, with Alexander/Styles winning 5 and 4.

Our courses have been re rated and the changes have been put into the Genius system. This is a good thing! except for the remaining matches as it changes our handicaps. As you know I pull the handicaps from the first of the month. To be fair and consistent I will hand make the remaining official scorecards using the old ratings.
Please review the pairings! I have the Championship scheduled for October 1 and 2. There are four matches to be played before we can get there. As I have said previously I am aware the Village Cup is the last week In September. . I would like to communicate with the remaining teams to try for tee times that would work to get the matches played.

The rainout yesterday of Alexander / Styles vs Diehl / Shaw has turned the pairings into a bit of a challenge!
Please review updated pairings here. You may play one day and need to turn around and play the next. Think about your schedules, talk to your partner, let me know what I can do to help.
Please remember we are down to the nitty gritty...Your decision to play or change affects the whole field.
Every team on the sheet has the opportunity to be the 2022 WGC MPM Champions!!
The dates of the Championship can be moved if necessary. I do need to get the dates locked down with Golf Operations ASAP.

Ellen suggests that in case of rain...
"If you find yourselves rained out....the four of you go into the clubhouse and agree on a tee time.
Have the guys put you on the books! If we have to go into June for Round One, that's what we will do!
Then let me know so I can record your tee time and make sure you have your scorecards correct and ready."

The MPM team of Peggy Crabtree / Marilyn Garris has dropped out due to illness. Marilyn Garris called this morning and said she needed a head transplant!
I told her we all knew that.....😀😍 (She thinks it's allergies affecting her balance)
First and foremost! Peggy and Marilyn, love you both and feel better soon!
Our first play day is this Friday, It's not too late to add a team. Hello! Is anyone interested??
Please think about and consider grabbing a partner and playing in MPM.
It's a once a month commitment. Your first play day would be this Friday May 20, Kingswood ,10:12 AM tee time.

The matches scheduled on May 11 and May 13 have been cancelled due to the flooding on the course. It is my understanding the plan is to reopen on May 20th. And that depends on not finding any more damage and not getting any more weather
My plan is to extend our Round One into June if necessary. Kelli and I will be in Florida next week for her daughter, my granddaughter!, graduation. We will sit down and figure out what the tee time options are for everyone when we get back.

The 2022 Match Play Madness (MPM) tournament kicked off this year with our traditional happy hour Bracket Party on Friday, 4/22/22 at the Highlands Pub.
This year the tournament fielded 32 teams in a double-elimination bracket. Teams were drawn, the bracket was posted, and a good time was had by all. Now, LET THE MATCHES BEGIN!
