These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Solara Investments Limited through the trading name of MatchaMoments ("we", "us", or "our"), including counselling/therapy sessions (in-person, virtual, or telephone), bookings, and any related interactions. By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Our Services
MatchaMoments provides professional counselling support. Our counsellors are registered social workers under the Social Worker Registration Board in Hong Kong. Services are not medical/psychiatric treatment and do not replace professional medical advice. If you are in crisis, contact emergency services (e.g., 999) or relevant hotlines.
2. Booking and Appointments
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of confirmation via phone or email.
You must provide accurate information during booking/intake.
Cancellations/rescheduling: at least 24 hours' notice required; late cancellations may incur full fees.
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services if inappropriate conduct occurs or if services are unsuitable.
3. Fees and Payment
Fees are:
Individual counselling sessions have a minimum duration of 60 minutes, with a fee of HKD600/60 minutes. An additional charge of HKD150 applies for every subsequent 15 minutes.
Couples counselling sessions require a minimum meeting time of 75 minutes, at a cost of HKD 800/75 minutes. An additional charge of HKD160 is charged for each additional 15 minutes.
Payment is due upon the completion of the session. Payment can be made in advance/via bank transfer/PayMe/FPS/WISE.
No refunds except as stated (e.g., if we cancel).
4. Confidentiality and Limits
Confidentiality is fundamental. We adhere to our Privacy Policy and PDPO. Exceptions apply where disclosure is required/authorized by law or ethics (e.g., risk of harm).
5. Client Responsibilities
Attend sessions sober and prepared.
Inform us of changes in circumstances (e.g., medical issues).
Not record sessions without explicit consent.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
We provide services with reasonable care/skill but do not guarantee outcomes.
We are not liable for indirect/consequential loss or damages.
Total liability is limited to fees paid for the relevant service.
7. Termination
We may end services if:
You breach these Terms.
It is in your best interest (clinical reasons).
Non-payment occurs.
8. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Hong Kong courts.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
