INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Match & Learn, an educational Android game designed to help children learn through matching activities, letter and number tracing, phonics, and interactive challenges.
We are committed to protecting children's privacy and providing a safe learning experience.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the app stores, how it uses that information, and how parents or guardians can manage their child's app data.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND STORE
Match & Learn does not require users to create an account or provide personal information such as their name, email address, phone number, photograph, or home address.
The app stores certain information locally on the user's device to support its educational features.
This information may include:
Learning progress and completed activities
Matching-game results and difficulty preferences
Letter and number tracing progress
Stars, achievements, rewards, and collected stickers
Daily Challenge completion
Sound, voice, vibration, and other app settings
This information is stored in the app's private storage using AndroidX DataStore.
The developer does not operate a backend server that receives or stores this saved learning progress.
HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Locally stored information is used to:
Remember learning progress between sessions
Unlock activities and track achievements
Display earned stars, rewards, and stickers
Remember selected settings and preferences
Provide an age-appropriate and consistent learning experience
Match & Learn does not require a user account, and locally stored learning progress is not used by the developer for targeted advertising or marketing.
Match & Learn is currently an ad-free educational application. The latest ad-free build does not contain the Google Mobile Ads SDK and does not request or display advertisements.
The application does not include developer-operated advertising, analytics, or user-tracking services.
Some earlier testing builds may still contain advertising SDK components, although advertising requests and display were disabled. These older builds will be replaced as part of the ad-free release process.
If advertising is introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain the applicable advertising technologies, data practices, and parental privacy protections.
TEXT-TO-SPEECH AND LEARNING AUDIO
Match & Learn uses Android's text-to-speech functionality to pronounce letters, numbers, words, and learning instructions.
When voice functionality is enabled, the relevant learning text may be processed by the text-to-speech service installed on the device.
Text-to-speech processing is handled by Android or the device's selected speech provider and may be subject to that provider's privacy practices.
Parents can disable voice functionality in the app's Settings.
EMOJI AND SYSTEM SERVICES
The app may use Android system services and font providers to display emoji and other learning-related visual content.
Depending on the device configuration, the system font provider may retrieve fonts. These requests do not include the child's saved learning progress or an app-created user profile.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Match & Learn is designed for children and supports educational activities without requiring them to submit personal details.
The app does not provide:
User account registration
Public chat or messaging
Social networking features
In-app purchases or payment processing
A developer-operated service for uploading children's learning progress
Certain parent-related functions, including progress reset, are available through the Parent Zone.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise children's device use and review the privacy settings of their Android device and installed system services.
Match & Learn does not transmit locally saved learning progress, achievements, rewards, or settings to a developer-operated server.
The developer does not sell children's personal information or use locally stored learning progress for advertising.
Certain Android system services, including the device's selected text-to-speech provider and system font provider, may process information necessary to deliver their functions. Their behavior depends on the device configuration and the applicable provider's privacy practices.
DATA STORAGE, RETENTION, AND DELETION
Learning progress and app preferences are stored locally on the device.
The information remains available while the app and its stored data are retained.
Parents can use the Parent Zone's Reset Progress option to clear saved gameplay progress and rewards.
To delete all locally stored app data, including preferences, users can:
Open Android Settings.
Select Apps.
Select Match & Learn.
Open Storage or Storage & cache.
Choose Clear storage or Clear data.
Uninstalling the application also removes its locally stored app data through the normal Android uninstall process.
Automatic Android backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for Match & Learn app data.
DATA SECURITY
Match & Learn uses Android's private application storage for saved progress and settings.
The app does not require a developer-operated account or cloud database for normal gameplay.
The security and privacy of Android system services and third-party providers are governed by their respective implementations and policies.
Match & Learn's core matching, tracing, and learning activities are designed to work offline.
The current ad-free build does not contain the Google Mobile Ads SDK or make advertising requests.
Certain Android system services, such as text-to-speech or font providers, may access the internet independently depending on the device configuration. Offline gameplay should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every Android system service will remain offline.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app's features, data handling, third-party services, or applicable requirements change.
The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to review this page periodically.
