I am an economist and academic researcher currently working as a Research Fellow at the University of Foggia, in the Department of Social Sciences. Since December 2023 I have been involved in the PRIN22 UNICORN project, where I study energy community markets in inner and protected areas, combining applied econometrics with policy-relevant analysis. This position allows me to develop my independent research agenda while collaborating within an interdisciplinary team.
In 2022–2023 I taught Political Economy at the University of Bari Aldo Moro, delivering courses in Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, and I co-taught International and Monetary Economics at LUM University alongside Prof. Sambati, former Director of the Bank of Italy. Between 2020 and 2023 I also served as Subject Expert at LUM University in Political Economy, International Economics, and International Economic Scenarios, gaining solid experience in teaching, exam preparation, and student support.
Before fully moving into academia, from 2017 to 2019 I worked as a Financial Analyst at a Global Emerging Markets private equity fund in the USA, where I analysed business plans, prepared IPO prospectuses, and produced reports for the Investment Committee. In 2016–2017 I was a Business Developer at Global Voices in the UK, exploring new markets and strengthening my interest in international contexts and applied finance.
I obtained my PhD in Economics and Management of Sustainability and Innovation from LUM Degennaro University in 2023, after previous degrees in Economics and Management, Finance and Control, and in Financial and Stock Market Analysis. Over the years I have complemented my formal education with specialized training in time series and panel data econometrics, data science, and macroeconomic analysis, including courses at the Barcelona School of Economics, the Italian Society of Econometrics, and the London School of Economics.
My research focuses on macroeconomic and fiscal policy, with particular attention to government spending multipliers, monetary policy, inequality, and regional development. I have published in international and Class A journals and presented my work at numerous conferences across Europe. I work confidently with R, Matlab, Stata, Eviews and other quantitative tools, and I value teamwork, clear communication, and rigorous, policy-relevant research.
