Welcome to my page!

Hi, I am Sucheta Swetlana, a research scholar at Materials Research Centre, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. I am working with Prof. Abhishek Kumar Singh.  My areas of interest mainly lie in the study of mechanical properties in different class of alloys using first principles and machine learning. I also work on the design and optimization of material properties using statistical correlations, multi-objective optimization, and explainable AI methods. I have worked on the establishment of structure-property correlations using image processing tools and simple chemistry of elements in different classes of alloys. My main aim is to unravel the causes that govern material behavior under different conditions using explainable AI techniques. Apart from this, I am looking into the configurational and compositional diversities in high entropy alloys using machine learning approaches.

Key areas: Superalloys, High Entropy Alloys, Density Functional Theory, Image Processing, Machine Learning
