Introduction
Hello and Welcome
I'm Masum Shah Junayed (Member, IEEE).
I am currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) and Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) at the University of Connecticut (UConn), USA. I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) under the supervision of the distinguished Professor Dr. Sheida Nabavi. I received my Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Bahcesehir University (BAU) in Turkey, and B.Sc in CSE from DIU in 2019.
Before coming here, I worked as a Full Time Research Associate (RA) at Bahcesehir University (BAU), Istanbul, Turkey. I also worked as a Researcher at BAU Computer Vision Lab under TUBITAK 2232 outstanding research project. Previously, I worked as a Full Time Junior Software Engineer (ML) at Experts Consortium Limited, Dhaka, Bangladesh. I'm also the Founder and Director of the Vision Research Lab of AI (VRLAI).
My research interests and experience fall into the magnificent categories of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Medical Imaging, Video Processing, and Intelligent Transportation Systems.
