College Just Ahead

A global pandemic by the name of Coronavirus caused Miami-Dade County Public Schools to partially close down and conduct their work virtually. MAST Academy, a school of excellence, included in many state and national rankings, is therefore allowing PTSA to offer an alternative to many of their programs. Although the idea of conducting programs virtually seems tedious, MAST PTSA "College Just Ahead" Virtual Program is putting a lot of effort in setting up virtual workshops and college tours, to hopefully allow students to flourish and continue to thrive in MAST Academy's excellence like they would in a non-virtual atmosphere. This websites purpose is to partner with College Assistance Program (CAP) advisors and MAST Academy's own counselors to help students prosper in virtual learning. A lesson learned from the pandemic is that a 'backup” system is always a good option. MAST PTSA College Just Ahead Program will try to be a liaison expanding our students’ horizons, and educational opportunities that promote college readiness. This virtual atmosphere is new for everyone, and the information this website provides can allow students to get ahead!
