The Law Firm of Anidjar & Levine will award a $2,500 scholarship to the student who best demonstrates the relationship between their community service and future career goals and ambitions.

Serving your community not only benefits the community; it also benefits the volunteer. Young volunteers who participate in community service are more likely to continue their civic service in adulthood. They also develop a greater understanding of and empathy for their fellow community members, along with a sense of personal responsibility to help.

Community service also helps young people prepare for future educational and career endeavors. Volunteering develops communication skills, leadership, and work ethic.

Who is eligible for the Anidjar & Levine Scholarship?

Our $2,500 scholarship is available to students who meet the following criteria.

Students currently enrolled in or formally accepted to an accredited U.S. community college, college, or university undergraduate or graduate degree program.

Applicants should have a history of serving their community in a volunteer role.

Applicants must currently be in good academic standing and provide transcripts to support a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

Epic Flight Academy prides itself on attracting top students. We invite high school students from anywhere in the United States to apply for these annual scholarships. Epic has awarded more than $590,000 to 52 high school students in the last 10 years of making these awards.

• Full scholarship to earn a Private Pilot’s License (up to $20,000 in flight training) and

• Partial Scholarship of $5,000 toward flight training.

The newest of the P.E.O. philanthropies, the STAR Scholarship, was established in 2009 to reward outstanding young women for their achievements in and out of the classroom. STAR continues to give stellar students an opportunity to continue their influence in their communities and the world, while giving each student a connection to a local chapter whose members are ready to encourage and support them as they embark on their college or university studies.

With interests as varied as the students themselves, recipients have majored in: arts and humanities; business; health and medicine; multi-/interdisciplinary studies; public and social services; science, math and technology; social sciences; and trades and personal services.

The American Culinary Federation Education Foundation, with the support of the American Academy of Chefs (AAC), is pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships annually to students:

Apprenticeship program - up to $1,500

Certificate programs - up to $1,500

Eligibility Requirement

-Be an exemplary student and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher

-Be currently accepted to an accredited institution with a culinary, pastry or foodservice-related major.

Application Procedure

-Applications are based on a point system and will be evaluated by the scholarship selection committee.

-Points can be earned for: academic grade point average; culinary competition participation; culinary volunteer activities; ACF involvement.

-Students will be notified by email of any scholarship award or denial 30 business days after the application deadline.

-Applicants are encouraged to reapply if scholarships are needed in future years.

-ACF reserves the right to cancel any scholarship at any time if the applicant fails to meet the standards of academic progress or falsifies information reported

Established in 1947, our Voice of Democracy® audio-essay program provides high school students with the unique opportunity to express themselves in regards to a democratic and patriotic-themed recorded essay.  Each year, more than 26,400 ninth through 12th grade students from across the country enter to win their share of more than $1.4 million in educational scholarships and incentives awarded through the program. 

The national first place winner receives a $35,000 scholarship paid directly to the recipient’s American university, college or vocational/technical school. A complete list of other national scholarships range from $1,000-$21,000, and the first place winner from each VFW Department (state) wins at least a scholarship of $1,000. Students interested in participating must submit their audio essay prepared on this year's theme, with a completed 2025-2026 entry form, to their local participating VFW Post. Find your sponsoring local VFW Post as essays must be turned in by midnight, Oct. 31.

Did binge-re-watching "The Walking Dead" get you thinking about what you’d do if the streets were filled with flesh-eating zombies? Maybe you've envisioned your own post-apocalyptic world overrun with the living dead, forcing you to come up with a zombie survival plan — and quick!

Hone your survival tactics and imagine what your school or college campus might be like in a zombie apocalypse. Our Zombie Apocalypse Scholarship committee wants to know your plan to avoid the zombies, where you’d hide, and the top-five things you’d bring to stay alive.

We're giving one successful survivor $2,000 towards his or her college education. Do you think you have what it takes to make the cut?

Applicants must:

Must be 14 years of age or older at time of application.| Must be a legal U.S. resident.| Must be a resident of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia.| This award is for U.S. students.

Submit an online written response to the question:

The "Imagine that your high school or college has been overrun with zombies. Your math professor, the cafeteria ladies, and even your best friend have all joined the walking dead. Flesh out a plan to avoid the zombies, including where you’d hide and the top-five things you’d bring to stay alive." (250 words or less)

The Zombie Apocalypse Scholarship winner will be notified by email or phone on or around Jan 31st.

The North Carolina Criminal Justice Fellows Program offers a 100% forgivable educational loan to cover college tuition, fees, textbooks, and supplies for high school graduates interested in completing an Associate in Applied Science in Criminal Justice and pursuing a criminal justice career. Fellowship recipients would have five (5) years to repay the loan or be eligible for loan forgiveness with four (4) years of service in an eligible criminal justice profession anywhere in North Carolina.

Even though cyberbullying may occur beyond school walls or outside of school hours, we’d like students to know that there is help both within and outside of school. Students can reach out to a trusted teacher, coach, employer, relative, or other adult for help.

Amount: $1,000

In an effort to get students committed to the cause of deleting cyberbullying, we are offering the Delete Cyberbullying Beyond School Walls Scholarship Award for high school and college students to help cover educational expenses.

How to Apply:

To apply, you must be a high school student (9th-12th grader), college student or graduate student attending or planning to enter an accredited U.S. college or university.

Selection is based on the written statement and focused on creativity, content and commitment to the cause of deleting cyberbullying.
